Disembarkation was 7.30am. It was really sad to leave MS Roald Amundsen & the fabulous crew, but taking them home in my heart.
Bus took us on a 'city tour' to kill some time. It was a bit of a joke as literally drove the main road from one end to the other!
We then got dropped off and had a couple of hours before heading to the airport so went souvenir shopping for a few bits to bring home, including a t-shirt reading 'I survived the Drake Passage' 😂
Ushuaia airport is not the most organised lol but flight was on time which was good. Had horrible man sitting next to me, thank goodness it was only 3 hours 🫤
Very disorganised at Buenos Aires airport with Hx staff. Trying to organise people into groups for different hotels and other operators plonking their guests in the middle caused confusion. All the buses left except ours, no explanation about why. Turns out some people can't follow instructions and got on wrong bus, to wrong hotel and we had to wait for them to come back. Some people were fuming as they had appointments to get to. I was worried about being late for tango dinner show, but thankfully made it in time.
